I spent most of yesterday at a family funeral - that of my better half’s aunt. It was a lovely celebration of a life well lived and person much loved, and for me proved an opportunity to reconnect with the real world.
I’m glad that nothing much else happened during the day. One wouldn’t want to miss anything important.
As for the kerfuffle over regional king Aleksandr Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, what can one say? The unflushable turd remains stuck in the u-bend, and I suspect we haven’t heard the last of him. The entertaining spectacle of the Conservative and Unionist Party tearing itself apart continues apace.
